5 Ways to Wellbeing
The People Support Team have created an infographic on the '5 Ways to Wellbeing'.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are proven actions we can do to find balance, build resilience, and boost our mental wellbeing.

The Menopause

Menopause will affect half of the population. You may experience this at some point personally, or you may know, live with or spend time with someone who will experience this, during their life.

What is the menopause?
The menopause is the stage of life when women stop having periods and experience hormonal changes, such as a decrease in oestrogen levels. Menopause usually occurs between the ages of 40 and 55 and typically lasts between four and eight years, although it can last longer. Every experience will be unique to the individual and menopausal symptoms can sometimes begin before the age of 40 years. Perimenopause, or menopause transition, begins before the menopause.

We kindly encourage all team members to familiarise themselves with information on menopause, through the resources below. We have also included resources for those who may be experiencing the menopause.

Menopause Focus Group

Cheetham Jackson holds a Menopause Focus group, which is open to all team members. The aim of the focus group is to understand how Menopause and Peri Menopause affects our team members and to consider how CJ can support. If you would like to be involved, please contact the People Support Team.
